Hotel De Guise Nancy Vieille Ville

I loved the peace, the style, the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, the excellent value for money, the standard of comfort and facilities throughout the hotel. The room I had lacked nothing. I would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone and I would love to stay there again anytime.

Great breakfast to start the day with excellent croissants, jams, good coffee. Location close enough to the old town and restaurants, and the beautiful city park and Place Stanislas. Good service and great value.

I loved the charming old-world ambiance and the cozy breakfast setup, but the stair climb to the third floor was a workout! Totally worth it, though, would revisit!

It was the third time that we stayed at this hotel, and we always come back because of the good location and the charm of the building, with its majestic stone stairways and the way the charm of this old time "palace" has been kept.

The only minus this time, was the noice of the wooden floor in our room. We couldn't have one step in our room without having some "cracking" noice.

The limited breakfast choices left me wanting more variety. Lastly, finding parking was a hassle, and I had to walk quite a distance with my luggage.

Good location, easy parking around the corner. Helpful staff. Secured cheap rooms which were adequate for one night stay en route. They do have more comfortable and spacious rooms but keeping costs down was my priority this time.

The room was cozy and spacious, with a nice wall painting that gave it character. The bed was super comfortable with lots of pillows. The bathroom was clean and the shower was nice and wide. And filtered water available was a nice touch. I really appreciated the hotel's charm and uniqueness!

Absolutely perfect

A great location in the heart of Nancy. Walking distance from the park and main square. Plenty of restaurants around. The hotel is quiet has charm and is clean.

Lovely hotel full of character situated in the nicest part of Nancy in the old town. Very near to Place Stanislas (5-10 minute walk); near lots of lovely cafes and restaurants; easy to pop back to the hotel during the day. Building is very quaint and rooms are very comfortable. Very quiet location and lovely terrace to sit out and read a book weather permitting.

We stayed for one night on our way south. Excellent location to visit the city centre by foot. Confortable, clean, nice service. No parking but street parking is available nearby and for the night it was free.

The hotel is located rather centrally in the old part of Nancy, which is very beautiful. Also the newest rooms are really nice. Hotel staff is delivering an excellent service. I stayed there with a group of 10 people, and we all had the same impression.

We missed eggs and bacon in the morning, but that's just a small detail.

The beautiful marble staircase greeted me upon arrival, setting the tone for a charming stay. Bottled water in the hallway was a thoughtful touch, especially given the heat during the trip. Clean rooms and a comfortable mattress contributed to a restful night's sleep. The breakfast options were rather limited, which left room for improvement.
